Dr. Richard Clark

Dr. Richard Clark completed an Emergency Medicine internship and residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh where he also served as chief resident. He then completed a Toxicology Fellowship at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology, and joined the faculty in July 1991. Dr. Clark is the Medical Director of the San Diego Division of the California Poison Control System and the Director of the UCSD Division of Medical Toxicology. He oversees the Medical Toxicology Consult and Admitting Services at UCSD Medical Centers in Hillcrest and La Jolla, and is Medical Director of Pharmacy and Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at UCSD. Dr. Clark is co-editor of the "Toxicology" section of the Journal of Emergency Medicine. Publications
