Dr. Pete Witucki
Pete Witucki MD attended medical school at Loyola University in Chicago. He completed an internship year at Naval Medical Center San Diego and then served as an Undersea/Diving Medical Officer in the US Navy for 4 years. He completed Emergency Medicine residency training at UC Davis followed by a fellowship in Hyperbaric Medicine at UC San Diego. He holds board certifications in both medical specialities. Dr. Witucki joined the faculty at UCSD in 2004. He was recognized in 2008 as the “teacher of the year” by the emergency medicine residents. He was selected as a “Top Doctor” by the San Diego County Medical Society in 2007. He serves as the medical director of the EMSTA College Paramedic Program. Dr.Witucki continues to serve in the US Navy Reserves as a Diving Medical Officer. Research interests include diving and hyperbaric medicine.
