  • Solana Archuleta, MD

    Solana Archuleta, MD

    Undergraduate: University of Colorado, Boulder
    Medical School: University of Colorado School of Medicine
    Residency: Hennepin County Medical Center

    Solana grew up in the foothills of Colorado. She played one year of softball at the University of Northern Colorado before transferring to the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned degrees in neuroscience and psychology and conducted research on the neurobiology of addiction. She went on to receive her MD from the University of Colorado and completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Solana is currently a Toxicology Fellow at UC San Diego.

    Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing, scuba diving, paddle boarding, relaxing at the beach, practicing yoga, and traveling.

  • Leanne Cook, MD

    Leanne Cook, MD

    Residency: UC Los Angeles

     Dr. Leanne Cook is from Long Island, NY.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where she studied biological sciences and humanities with a concentration in behavioral science. She worked in administration at Montefiore Medical Center before attending the University of Rochester School of Medicine, where she completed supplemental training in Bioethics. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at UCLA Ronald Reagan-Olive View. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, baking and lounging with her dog, Ruby. 

  • Matthew Lippi, MD

    Matthew Lippi grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He went to UC Irvine for his undergraduate studies in biology. He spent several years working in occupational health and industrial risk management consulting before returning to graduate school at UC Berkeley to complete a Master of Public Health. He then moved to Colorado to attend medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. After graduating, he returned to California and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at UCSF - Fresno where he also served as chief resident. His toxicology interests include occupational toxins and marine biotoxins. Dr. Lippi is a lover of all things water, spending his time outside fishing, surfing, diving, and boating with his wife, Joyce, and tiny dog, Grizzly. When forced to be on land, he enjoys backpacking and cooking.

  • Max Trojano, MD

    Max Trojano, MD

    Residency: Orlando Health, Emergency Medicine

    Max grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Biological Psychology at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Prior to attending medical school, Max worked as a research assistant at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where he was involved in the operation of several federally funded grants aimed at curbing the opioid epidemic. He then went on to complete medical school at the Penn State College of Medicine. While at Penn State, Max also obtained his Master's degree in Medical Education. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Orlando Health, where he also served as the chief resident during his final year. During his time in the ED, Max realized that he enjoys managing acute overdoses, as well as issues pertaining to addiction. He is excited for his new role as one of the Medical Toxicology fellows at UCSD! On any given day, you can find Max surfing, doing CrossFit, woodworking, or engaging in coffee snobbery. He also enjoys sleeping in, watching bad movies with his wife Amanda, and intense games of Catan. But these days, most of his time is spent chasing around his three-year-old son, Julian!
