Riku Moriguchi, MD
Undergraduate: Cornell Univeristy
Medical School: Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Residency: Denver HealthI grew up in Tokyo, Japan until I was 6 when I moved to New York where I spent the rest of my childhood. I went to Cornell University for undergraduate education and studied biology with a concentration in neurobiology and behavioral science. I worked for two years at the National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development before attending medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx in New York City. I made my way to Colorado for residency and trained at Denver Health Residency in Emergency Medicine where I served as chief resident. My interest in Medical Toxicology stems from the application of biochemistry and physiology into clinical medicine and using that understanding for medical education. This will be the first time living on the west coast, and I’m excited to explore all that California has to offer with my wife, Nathalie and two dogs, CJ and Leo. In our free time, I enjoy going to various dog beaches, camping, and going on road trips.
