International Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Relief

Emergency physicians have the unique skills and training to respond to disasters situations and humanitarian emergencies. Our faculty has participated in a number of disaster relief responses throughout the world.  In addition, the growth of EM has illuminated the need for improved prehospital care. Our faculty have worked to expand the development of emergency and prehospital care services in low resource settings.
