Dr. Michelle St. Romain hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, where she pursued her undergraduate studies and attended medical school. She completed her residency at LSU Spirit of Charity. During her residency, Dr. St. Romain developed a keen interest in clinical research, which led her to actively participate as a co-investigator in several clinical trials. Additionally, she made significant contributions to projects through the CDC-collaborative emergency department-based emerging infectious disease sentinel network. She is excited to join UCSD as a Clinical Research Fellow. Apart from her passion for research, she also has a strong interest in resident education. In her spare time, she is an avid reader. Additionally, she cherishes quality time spent with her family and friends.
