Dr.Natalie Haugen grew up in Madison, WI. She received her undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studied Anthropology. She then attended medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City and completed her residency training in Michigan through the Henry Ford Health System. Her interest in pre-hospital and disaster medicine comes from nearly 10 years of working in EMS. She is particularly interested in involving pre-hospital providers in community medicine, mental health treatment and addiction care. Outside of medicine Dr.Haugen enjoys anything outdoors, trying new restaurants and bars, art projects and board games. She loves staying active by playing on her roller derby and ice hockey teams. Along with her partner she is a proud parent to their dog Finnigan and cat Brian.
